Walter and Eliza Hall Institute of Medical Research Redevelopment

The $122m redevelopment project comprised a new building of seven (7) levels comprising PC2 Laboratories, scientific support, bio resources, stores, carparking. The existing building has also received major refurbishment to laboratories and support services. The new building was completed in December 2010. With the refurbishment of the existing buildings due in 2012.

Monash STRIP Building Stage 1

$80m base building for research laboratories. Project included all infrastructure service. C.R. Knight later documented all tenancies which included PC2 and PC3 laboratories.

Florey Neuroscience Institute

The neuroscience project comprised the construction of two (2) medical research building.  The $150m Parkville Development at the University of Melbourne site comprising 20,000m² of PC2, PC3 Laboratories, Support Services and car parking.
The second $38m building located at the Austin Hospital Heidelberg site comprised 5300m² of laboratories, MRI, Consulting Suites and Support Services was completed March 2011.
C.R. Knight provided the Fire Services design to the Parkville Neuroscience which included fire Hydrants, hose reels, fire sprinkler which include dry pipe system. The services provide at the Austin site included all the Hydraulic Services and Fire Services.

Australian Geological Survey Organisation, Laboratories

Now known as Geosciences Australia. A green fields site included the construction of 2 buildings each containing research laboratories and office space. At the time the project was valued at $100m.

Swinburne University Applied Science Building

The new teaching facility at the Hawthorn campus included new teaching laboratories, library and car parking facilities. Services were required to be connected to existing site infrastructure services.

I.R.D. Laboratory Building, Clayton

As ongoing development of the Monash Medical Centre which C.R. Knight were called upon again to document the 5 storey laboratory building for medical research which included PC 2 Laboratories at the Monash Medical Centre site.
